Panel Warmth is an independent publisher about infrared heating panels for US homes. We are not a manufacturer, retailer or installer, and we have no affiliation with any heater brand. This page explains what you can expect from our content and what it is not.

What we publish
Informative content, not professional advice
Everything on Panel Warmth is written for general information. Our guides on wattage, running costs, panel types and installation are meant to help you understand your options for one cold room, nothing more.
We are not licensed electricians, contractors, lawyers or financial advisors. Our wattage math uses named assumptions about insulation and ceiling height so you can redo the numbers with your own situation. Your room may differ.
Any electrical work beyond plugging a panel into a standard 120 V outlet is work for a licensed electrician who follows the National Electrical Code (NEC) and your local code. Our content is never a substitute for that professional assessment.
Accuracy
No guarantee of completeness
We work carefully, but we cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current or free of errors. Electricity rates change, product listings change, and local codes differ from one town to the next.
Before you buy a panel or hire an electrician, verify the numbers that matter to you: your own electricity rate in cents per kWh, your room size in square feet, and the certification and clearances of the specific product.
A panel that carries a UL, ETL or CSA listing at the time we write may change. Always confirm the listing on the product itself or with the testing laboratory.
Your responsibility
Limitation of liability
You use the information on this site at your own risk. Panel Warmth accepts no liability for any direct or indirect damage, loss or injury arising from the use of, or reliance on, our content.
This includes decisions about purchases, electrical work, mounting panels, or changes to your home. When in doubt, consult a licensed professional in your area.
Nothing on this site creates a professional relationship between you and Panel Warmth.
